Kenaniah "Established of the LORD"
Dear Niah,
YOU are the SWEETEST boy! You are the GREATEST BLESSING your Father & I have ever received! We are SO proud of you and your exuberance for life! We love EVERYTHING about you.... Your adorable laugh, your smile that can instantly LIGHT up a room, your cute feet & toes, your desire to be the CENTER of ATTENTION, your silly noises when you see cars and make their sounds..... vroom, brrrroooom, your ahhhhhh after you take a drink of anything, your cute little behind, your love of worship or drumming, your cuddly self, your intelligent self, your mad self, your happy self, your zest for life that spices up everyone Else's and pretty much everything else about Y+O+U!
I want to start your first entry about the meaning of your name and how we picked it out for YOU! I Angelique, YOUR MOTHER spent the 2001 Summer in Bangkok, Thailand as a missions intern leader. Mom lived with a missionary family that summer called The Pennington's. Pretty much THE most ANOINTED people mom has ever lived with in her life! They had four children one of them was called Si, his formal name was Josiah. He was also a sweet boy and I thought someday I want to have a name for a future son from the bible and shorten it, but also like the longer formal name. I kept that thought deep down inside but never forgot.
I came home after that summer and continued to devour reading the bible over the next year. One day I came across I Chronicles 15 and these are the verses of your name that I loved:
15:22 Kenaniah, Chief of the Levites, was in charge of the singing; he gave instruction in singing because he was skillful.
15:27 Now David was clothed with a robe of fine linen with all the Levites who were carrying the ark, and the singers and Kenaniah the leader of the singing with the singers. David also wore an ephod of linen.
26:29 As for the Izharites, Kenaniah and his sons were assigned to outside duties for Israel, as Officials and Judges in the land.
Your Daddy Jacob is an ANOINTED worship leader and Mommy loves worship also... A name that had any meaning to Worship just leaped in Mom's Spirit, it was an INSTANT knowledge that THIS was the name!
This of course was before mom met Dad, but she never forgot... While Mommy & Daddy were dating mom voiced her suggestion for names for a future son and Daddy LOVED it! It was a done deal before Dad & Mom even got married that YOUR NAME would be Kenaniah! Not only in the bible was Kenaniah a GODLY man, it states that his sons were "Officials & Judges in the land." That is a VERY important legacy that YOUR children Niah will RULE in JUSTICE over the people! A Godly Heritage is the greatest gift we could EVER give you!
Not only was ALL that AMAZING, but the actual meaning on Kenaniah is "Established of the Lord."
Niah our prayer for you is that you would be ANOINTED to live up to your name & the legacy & heritage being passed onto YOU. Dad & I believe that our prayers are being answered because so far your are MESMERIZED by anything that has to do with music. Let it be known as you grow up that we want you to be ALL that the LORD created you to be,.... and if for some reason music is NOT your thing, we will LOVE YOU JUST THE SAME!
We cannot WAIT to see the Lord's Faithfulness to our prayers!

Thank YOU for NIAH, Thank YOU for his Sweet Magnetic personality that YOU Lord have given Him at even a YOUNG age! We ask that YOU Bless Him with a Heart for YOU at a young age, to be Sensitive to YOUR Spirit, to be Obedient to YOUR Spirit, to place friends in his life that LOVE YOU Lord & LOVE Niah & Encourage Niah to be ALL that YOU have Created him to BE. We ask for Wisdom as parents to know how to Guide this precious Son and gift and call out his gifts by YOU. Lord we ask that YOU prepare his future wife, that YOU knit her in her mother's womb just for Niah, we ask that she be the perfect helper and compliment to Niah's gifts to bring GLORY to your name on this earth, we ask that you protect her from the forces of lies in this world, & bless her parents who are raising her to be FAITHFUL to call out her gifts & love her the way she needs to be loved! We ask that YOU raise up Niah as a leader and use him to LEAD YOUR people OUT of bondage and into the Victory as Joshua & Moses did, to Speak through him like the prophets Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Habakkuk, Zechariah, Amos, Micah, Zephaniah, and Daniel. Let him be a BOLD man of truth, let his hands be ANOINTED, let your Anointing be so Evident on Him that it SHIFTS circumstances on the earth! Let Niah be an intercessor and plead that YOU Lord would Love & Protect and Fulfill YOUR words to YOUR people. Let the Healing anointing from both sides of the family come upon Niah, let our ceiling be Niah's floor, let him GO FARTHER, RUN HARDER & MORE FERVENTLY than Mom & Dad. We ask that YOU protect him, his Purity, Calling & Anointing ALL the days of His life. He is our first born son, He is YOURS Lord, we owe His life to YOU. We are blessed to raise Him and Love Him, but he is YOURS FIRST. Prepare the continents that He will minister on for YOU, Prepare his Voice, His Favor, His Words, let them be salted by the truth of YOUR word. Let him Prophetically Proclaim your KINGDOM COME, YOUR WILL BE DONE, let him be a Forerunner for your Kingdom! As John the Baptist let him have a Forerunner Spirit & Prepare the World for YOUR RETURN to Rule & Govern this earth. Lord let the knowledge of YOUR GOODNESS always be ETCHED on his Spirit ALL the days of his life (let NOT circumstances or tragic events take ANYTHING away), Let him Reflect YOU in ALL that he lays his hands to do. Anoint Niah for Business that he may bring in ALL the tithe to YOUR house and bless the world with YOUR provision THROUGH his hands. Give him the Wisdom of Solomon and let him not fall or be weak in flesh because of the temptation of women as Solomon did. Let the Anointing from Exodus 36 & 37 of Oholiab & Bezalel fall upon him with the Arts & the Ability to create masterpieces with his hands to bring your temple GLORY! Bless Niah ALL the days of his life! Jesus we Love YOU, Bless you as King & Thank You in advance of ALL that you have in store for NIAH! AMEN
